South Africa's skipper, Temba Bavuma, is falling short of just 69 runs to achieve the feat of completing 500 runs against Team India in Test cricket. So far, having played nine Test matches, the right-hander has garnered 431 runs, including three half-centuries

KL Rahul

Team India's versatile batsman, KL Rahul, is 91 runs shy of achieving the feat against the Proteas in the format. Having made eight Test appearances against the 'Rainbow Nation', Rahul has smashed 409 runs, with the help of two tons and a half-century

Aiden Markram

The Proteas' opening batsman, Aiden Markram, has scored 408 runs in 11 Test matches against India. If the burly batsman manages to score 92 runs in the second Test match, he will then complete his tally of 500 runs against the Shubman Gill-led Team India

The second Test match between Team India and South Africa is scheduled to be played at the Assam Cricket Association Stadium in Guwahati from November 22

Currently, the Proteas are leading the two-match Test series by 1-0 and will aim to register a clean sweep. On the other hand, the hosts will play for pride and level the series at 1-1
