Players who reached IPL final in their debut season as captain

The stage is set for a historic finale as Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Punjab Kings are set to face off in the final of the 18th edition of the IPL at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. PBKS, formerly known as Kings XI Punjab, made their sole appearance in the final in 2014, where they were defeated by Kolkata Knight Riders.
