Having opted to bat first, opening batsman Vaibhav Sooryavanshi played a blistering knock of 175 runs off just 80 deliveries. His knock also included 15 boundaries and the same number of maximums. Vihaan Mahotra garnered 30 runs in his knock of 36 balls. He also smashed two boundaries. Wicketkeeper-batsman Abhigyan Kundu managed to register 40 runs off 31 balls, including six boundaries and a maximum. Later, RS Ambrish also registered 18 runs off 24 balls, with the help of two boundaries. Kanishk Chouhan also gave the finishing touches to India's innings.
