The IPL 2026 match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Mumbai Indians (MI) will take place on Wednesday at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata (Pic: AFP)

Ahead of the match, MI's premier batsman Suryakumar Yadav is falling short of 55 runs to achieve the feat of completing 4000 runs for the Mumbai-based franchise (Pic: AFP)

Currently, the right-handed batsman has scored 3945 runs in 125 matches for the team. With a top score of an unbeaten 103 runs, he also has two tons and 29 half-centuries (Pic: AFP)

If he manages to score the required runs, Suryakumar will become the second batsman to achieve the feat for the "Paltan" (Pic: AFP)
