Danish Shaikh's solitary strike propelled Christ Church School (Byculla) into the quarter-finals, beating Dr Antonio da Silva High School (Dadar) 1-0 in a Pool ‘C' match of the boys U-14 Mumbai School Sports Association (MSSA) World Cup Fiesta inter-school football tournament at Azad Maidan recently.

Christ Church began aggressively and controlled possession. Their attacking approach paid off in the 12th minute when Danish calmly slotted home after a well-worked move. In the second half, the Byculla boys maintained control with some neat passing to see out the match 1-0. In another Pool C tie, Campion School (Colaba) and Notre Dame School (Vasai) played out a goalless draw.
