Cazorla was replaced by Mathieu Flamini at the interval of a game that saw Arsenal claim a point when substitute Kieran Gibbs scored in the 77th minute to cancel out Harry Kane's first-half opener.

Wenger said that Cazorla had been "half-conscious" during the first half, but revealed that the Spain international had reported no ill effects after the match and had not been taken to hospital. "We suffered in the first half because Cazorla was at 30 percent of his potential.

He was dizzy," Wenger told his post-match press conference. "So many times I was sitting there, didn't know, do I take him off or not? You never know. Maybe it will get better.

At half-time I took him off and we were a bit better balanced in the second half." Wenger added: "He's not sick. He just was dizzy and he couldn't move. You could see that on the pitch. I didn't really know what he had. "I hope it's nothing bad, but he says he's all right now."
