Paris: Italy & Juventus' veteran goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has revealed how he keeps going under the bar for his country and club even at the age of 38.

He cuts down on every Italian's favourite food and drink - pasta and wine. Keen to sustain his rabbia, which in Italian means rage, Buffon said he deprives himself of what he loves most.

"So, in a week if I used to eat pasta nine or 10 times, I now eat it five times.

If I drank 10 glasses of wine earlier, now I drink two," he said during an interview with Wall Street Journal recently. Buffon plans to play his sixth World Cup in 2018.
