Harshal ’tricks as Don Bosco beat St Stanislaus to clinch title

A fine hat-trick by Harshal Devele helped Don Bosco High School (Matunga) beat arch-rivals St Stanislaus High School (Bandra) 3-0 in the final to clinch the boys U-16 Ahmed Sailor Dreams Sports Mumbai School Sports Association (MSSA) inter-school knockout football tournament at Wings Sports Centre, Bandra, on Friday.

Don Bosco scored in the 25th minute when Harshal struck a volley from outside the box, beating Stanislaus goalkeeper Vihaan Baikadi. Harshal doubled the lead seven minutes later as he dribbled past several Stanislaus defenders to score. He completed his hat-trick (39th) by dribbling past Baikadi before calmly finishing to seal the title for Don Bosco.
