Liverpool’s expensive signing Barcola under pressure

Bradley Barcola will have to cope with the scrutiny that comes with a huge price tag, said Liverpool boss Andoni Iraola ahead of the English Premier League clash with Brentford.

Barcola opened his account for the Reds with a hat-trick in the Champions League against LASK after an underwhelming start to the season since his £123 million (approx Rs 1557 cr) move from Paris Saint Germain in the summer.

"Football is like this. You win a game, you are incredible; you have a bad performance, you are a disaster. It is going to be like this for Bradley, he has to get used to it. But now it is a matter of finding the best connection with team-mates, the level of understanding of when to attack the spaces. The more he plays, the better he will become," said Iraola.
