Man United star Lingard's model girlfriend Jena dumps him after 2-year affair

England and Manchester United forward Jesse Lingard was dumped by his model girlfriend Jena Frumes, who confirmed the split on Twitter recently. In her first tweet, Frumes, who has been romantically linked to star singer Mariah Carey's ex-husband Nick Cannon, wrote to her 96,000 followers: "At least I can say I tried plus enjoyed the ride."

She followed the tweet with another: "I love Jesse to death but sometimes the timing is just off." The news comes just three months after rumour had it that Lingard, 25, had cheated on his girlfriend. A source told British tabloid, The Sun: "Not many women would have stayed around for as long as Jena did after the cheating storm Jesse created. But Jena did, and she took a lot of flak from fans for doing so. It seems enough is enough and she can no longer put up with it."

The couple met in the United States in 2016 and began dating a few months later.
