Palmer, Trent recalled to England squad

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Cole Palmer were recalled to the England squad by manager Thomas Tuchel on Friday after being left out of the World Cup this summer in North America.

Meanwhile, Rio Ngumoha, Alex Scott and Jarrad Branthwaite were also included in a 27-man group for their Nations League fixtures against Spain (26th September), Croatia (October 3) and Czech Republic (September 29 and October 6).

Explaining his decision to recall Cole Palmer and Alexander-Arnold, Tuchel said: "Palmer has his numbers back, he has assists back, he has decisive goals back, so that's why he's in the squad and I think he has a point to prove. The same goes for Trent."
