Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany is clearly aware of Paris Saint-Germain's surfeit of attacking talent, but believes his side are just as good and can overturn the one-goal deficit from their Champions League semi-final first leg at the Parc des Princes in tonight's second leg at the Allianz Arena.

"They [PSG] have been the strongest team in Europe over the last couple of years, they've won the Champions League. Besides, their quality, coaching, and the age of the team is also on their side. They keep improving, they're constantly learning. They're a team who we respect and who are very difficult to play against. We believe the same of ourselves, though, and that we can beat them tomorrow," Kompany told reporters on Tuesday.

Last week's frenetic clash in Paris, which ended in a 5-4 triumph for Luis Enrique's men, saw both sides produce a masterclass in attacking football.

When asked if either side may take a more pragmatic approach this time around, Kompany reckoned that's unlikely.

"If one [side] decides to take a step back, then it might be calmer - if not, then it won't be. You have to stick to what's got us this far up, so it's hard for us and Paris to play differently," said Kompany, who also urged his team to stay "switched on for 90 minutes," if they want to stand a chance of making it to the final. Bayern have only lost one of their last 29 UCL home games. And with an attacking trio of Harry Kane, Michael Olise, and Luis Diaz, who have scored over 100 goals combined across all competitions this season, Kompany's men will back themselves to win.
