Diego Maradona was in a buoyant mood after Argentina's 4-1 win over South Korea and did not hold back in praising his entire team for a job that has ensured their qualification in the last 16.
The legendary World Cup winner was also asked why he always hugs and kisses all his players at the end of a match or afteru00a0 they were substituted.
Maradona was just as quick with this reply as he was with the football at his feet a few decades ago.
"Well I still prefer women. I am dating Veronica who is blond and 31-years-old," he said.
"No I have not gone limp wristed (homosexual). But I like to acknowledge and congratulate my players when they play as well as they did today. That was a pleasing result and display. It was a job well done," Maradona said.
Never a man to let any opportunity to entertain the audience pass is he?
