Horse racing: Kramer favourite for today's A Campbell Trophy

The A Campbell Trophy is slated as the feature event of Wednesday's small, seven-race evening card. The class II handicap race to be run over seven furlongs nine runners in the fray, prominent among them are Timeless, Carbonara, Kramer and Aurelia.

The Sunderji-trained Timeless, to be ridden by Chotu Singh Jodha who, of late, is in rousing form, may be installed as a hot favourite in the betting market. However, Kramer has taken a decent jump on the scale of dynamic ratings when winning over six furlongs in last start; and I feel this Malesh Narredu ward to be ridden by PS Chouhan may be able to humble Timeless and other rivals in a close finish.
