Canadian star singer Shania Twain celebrated her birthday by performing at the US Open on Monday. Twain, who turned 52, kicked off the annual tennis tournament at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens, New York by mesmerising countless fans with her hit tracks such as 'That Don't Impress Me Much' and 'You're Still The One'.
"It's @usopen day. What a way to spend my birthday!" Twain wrote on Twitter.
Earlier, Twain, who has son Eja, 16, feared that she may never sing again after contracting Lyme disease. "It's a very debilitating disease, very degenerative. So I was very lucky at all that it affected the nerves on my vocal cords, not the vocal cords," she told portal Female First.
