Aryna Sabalenka announces engagement to Georgios Frangulis

World No. 1 tennis ace Aryna Sabalenka, 27, announced her engagement with partner Georgios Frangulis on Wednesday, in a post depicting the moment her to-be-husband popped the question.

In a video Instagrammed by the Belarusian, Frangulis, 36, is seen going down on one knee to propose, much to the delight of Sabalenka.

"You and me, forever. 3.3.26," Sabalenka captioned the post followed by a ring emoji and a white heart.

The post received nearly six-lakh ‘likes' within a few hours.

In an additional story uploaded later, Sabalenka wrote, "Well, I obviously had no idea this was happening tonight." The couple was first spotted together in April 2024, before publicly confirming their relationship in August 2024.
