South Korea's Wi, chasing his first win on the PGA Tour, was at 15-under 199 with a three-shot lead after playing the more difficult Spyglass Hill course at the $6.4 million tournament.

Woods rediscovered his putting onu00a0 Saturday to shoot a five-under 67 on Pebble Beach Links and was four strokes back of Wi at 11-under 203.

Meanwhile, Indian golfer Arjun Atwal's misery ended with yet another poor round of 76 in the third round. The score took his three-round total to 227 which meant he finished very close to the bottom of the leaderboard after missing his fifth cut in a row.
