Shillong: The Indian men's badminton team thrashed Maldives and Bangladesh with an identical scoreline of 3-0 in Group 'A' matches and make the semi-finals in the 12th South Asian Games on Saturday.

K Srikanth beat Maldives' Mohamed Ajifan Rasheed before Ajay Jayaram handed then a 2-0 lead with his win over Hussain Zayan Shaheed Zaki.

The pair of Manu Attri and Sumeeth Reddy then wrapped it up in the doubles with a win over the Maldives combo of Shaheed Zaki and Ajifan. The Indian team then got the better of Bangladesh 3-0 to secure their semis spot from Group A.
