Canada Open: Srikanth topples top seed Chen to enter semis

India's Kidambi Srikanth continued his impressive run to enter the semi-finals with a straight-game win over top seed Chou Tien Chen of Chinese Taipei at the Canada Open here.

The Indian shuttler, ranked 49th, outclassed World No. 6 Chen 21-18, 21-9 in a 43-minute quarter-final clash on Friday night. Srikanth will battle Japan's third seed Kenta Nishimoto for a place in the final.
