Few things in life give four-time Formula One world champion Max Verstappen as much joy as racing. One of them is fatherhood.
In a recent episode of the P1 with Matt and Tommy podcast, the Red Bull driver, who is in a relationship with model Kelly Piquet, opened up about the joys of parenthood and how special it has been to watch his daughter Lily, one, grow. "Watching Lily grow and her calling me by my name feels special. Every weekend when I come back home, she's learning new things, and yes, watching her evolve as a human being is great. In a way, you don't want her to grow up, you want her to stay like that, but you also want to see how she grows. It's really nice," said the Dutchman.
Verstappen will next be in action at this weekend's Malaysian GP. He is currently sixth in the championship standings with 163 points from 15 races (seven podiums).
