Mumbai: Mumbai Customs registered a 12-run win over Future Group in a qualifying round match of the 10th All India Dr DY Patil T20 Cup at the DY Patil Stadium in Nerul yesterday. The tournament commences from Wednesday.
Electing to bat, Customs amassed a mammoth 213 for seven from their stipulated 20 overs. Parag Khanapurkar cracked a 48-ball 79 to top score for Customs. In reply, Future Group were restricted to 201 for the loss of nine wickets.
Brief scores: Mumbai Customs 213-7 (P KhanaPurkar 79, S Wagh 53) bt Future Group 201-9 (Anup Fulpe 85; Atish Gaikwad 3/40 by 12 runs.
