Eskimo for J V Shukla Trophy

One of the trophy races on Thursday's seven-race card is named after J V Shukla, better known as Ashwamitra, who spent over three decades in horse racing journalism.

Seven runners will face the starter for the class III event to be run over the trip of six furlongs, and a close finish is expected between Sharaarat & Eskimo. The latter is my choice.
