Seven-time Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton has acquired his dream car - the Ferrari F40 - a model that was in production from 1987-1992 and one he had been eyeing since childhood.
Hamilton, 41, who drives for Team Ferrari, Instagrammed a series of pictures of his new ride to his 43.6 million followers, revealing that he found it sitting in a garage for over 30 years. "As a kid I dreamt of having one. These cars are works of art and incredibly rare, so when I found this one, covered in dust after being sat in a garage for over 30 years, I knew I had to bring her home," Hamilton wrote, going on to explain that he got Ferrari's engineers to work on the car to make it fully functional again.
