Singh shattered Hoblidhar's national record by 0.03 seconds as he stormed to victory at the Indian Grand Prix 1 2025 Athletics meet in Bengaluru. Interestingly, Hoblidhar also bettered his previous record by 0.01 seconds in the same race.

Singh's record lasted less than four months as Kujur became the first Indian to run a 100m race in under 10.20 seconds. Kujur claimed the record en-route to finishing third at the Dromia International Sprint and Relays Meeting 2025 in Vari, Greece.
Not satisfied with losing the national record, Singh reclaimed it from Kujur less than a year later, crossing the finish line in 10.17 seconds in the opening semi-final heat of the National Senior Athletics Federation Competition 2026 in Ranchi.
Kujur made sure Singh's joy was short-lived as merely minutes later, he set a new national record, eclipsing Singh's mark by 0.02 seconds in the second semi-final heat of the National Senior Athletics Federation Competition 2026 in Ranchi.
Singh re-wrote the history books by becoming the first Indian to breach the 10.1-second barrier, shaving off 0.06 seconds from the previous national record en route to victory at the National Senior Athletics Federation Competition 2026 in Ranchi. Singh's performance earned him a berth at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
