France's pair of Marion Bartoli and Richard Gasquet beat the Spanish duo Anabel Medina Garrigues and Fernando Verdasco.
Meanwhile. Bartoli put the French on track for Saturday's final when she beat Medina Garrigues in the women's singles 6-2, 6-4, while Richard Gasquet beat Spaniard Fernando Verdasco.
