Met Gala: Global sporting stars shine at the event

Some of the world's leading sports stars were out and shining brightly at the Met Gala in New York, recently. Among them, tennis ace Serena Williams, ski legend Lindsey Vonn and pole vault star Armand Duplantis particularly caught the eye.

Williams, a 37-time Grand Slam champion, wore a silver dress with a golden pair of heels, while Winter Olympics champ Vonn sported an off-white dress.

Duplantis, who was accompanied by fiancee Desire Inglander, wore a black suit with black sequins adorning the top half of his blazer.
