HCL Squash PSA Challenger Tour: Suraj Kumar Chand enters quarterfinals of mega event

Fourth-seeded Suraj Kumar Chand continued his good form to get the better of Egypt's Hassan Menshawy in the men's pre-quarterfinals of the HCL Squash PSA Challenger Tour here on Tuesday.

In a contest that lasted 73 minutes, Suraj, who won the men's singles title in the FISU World University Squash Championship last week, defeated Menshawy 11-4, 8-11, 11-2, 9-11, 11-8.

Sandhesh Palanivel Ravikumar came back from being 0-2 behind to defeat sixth-seeded Ayaan Vaziralli 6-11, 10-12, 11-5, 11-6, 11-7 and advance to the men's quarterfinals.

In women's section, top seed Tanvi Khanna moved into the quarterfinals with a straight-games win over Vasundhara Nangare.
