Before the London Games, Narang spent a considerable amount of time training woth Lapidus in Hanover, Germany even as he was embargoed from any media interaction in the run-up to the Games. "My coach wants me to focus on the Olympics alone and so I've been told not to speak to the media," was Narang's standard comment when approached for interviews before the London Games.

It's no wonder then, that the star shooter also agreed with his coach's views that he should have ended up with gold.

"I agree with my coach. And now that I have two more events to compete in, so he is going to keep me away from you (the media) again," Narang said at the a press conference yesterday.
