Joe Fernandis Memorial: W Rly beat C Rly 2-1

Western Railway (WR) got the better of Central Railway by the odd goal in three in a men;s elite match of the 14th Joe Fernandis memorial eight-a-side hockey tournament at the Bandra recently.

Rajkumar Minz and Pankaj Singh were the scorers for WR while Love Kumar reduced the marging for CR.

In another match, Mumbai Customs and Republicans played out a 3-3 draw. Joshua Vessaokar, Aniket Gurav and Hemath Gethe scored for Mumbai Customs. Sagar Manda netted a brace for Republicans while Saurabh Mayekar added the third goal.
