Five-time Norwegian chess champion Magnus Carlsen wears a serious look while making his moves on the board, but off it, he's all smiles and more so when he's around wife Ella, 28.

Carlsen, 35, recently Instagrammed this picture of a romantic lunch date with his better half, as he beams from ear to ear in her company. He captioned the post: "My happiness," followed by a heart emoji. The couple got married at a private ceremony in Oslo, Norway in January 2025.
