Mumbai Port Trust (MbPT) registered a convincing win to enter the quarter-finals, of the 61st Bombay YMCA Callan Cup Volleyball Tournament held at the Jhoola Maidan at Byculla yesterday.
MbPT kicked off their campaign with a 25-12, 25-11 win over Maharashtra Fire and were joined in the last eight by Matunga Boys and Bombay YMCA 'B'. Matunga Boys beat Naval Dockyard 25-21, 25-22.
While YMCA 'B' overcame MD College, Parel 25-11, 25-9. Mayank Boys beat Chembur YMCA 'A' 25-18, 25-21 and S R Sports defeated Chembur YMCA 'B' 25-18, 25-16.
