Open state-level basketball tournament: Indian Gym, Corvuss win titles

Boys U-18 champs Indian Gym

Indian Gymkhana and Corvuss American Academy clinched the boys and girls U-18 titles respectively at the Bombay YMCA (Ghatkopar branch) organised 29th Open state-level basketball tournament at the Ghatkopar YMCA courts.

Girls U-18 champs Corvuss

In a close boys final, Indian Gym beat Corvuss American Academy 52-51 after leading 15-7 at the half-way stage. Devesh Kshirsagar (25 points) and Kevin Nadar (12 points) were the main scorers for Indian Gym. In the girls final, Corvuss AA beat St Anthony's 60-57. Mahek Sharma, with 25 points, and Saanvi Kolisetty,
18 points, were the key contributors for Corvuss AA.
