Singer Jennifer Lopez reveals on Ellen DeGeneres show that it was she who first approached the former baseball star Alex Rodriguez and their meeting ended in a date but not a sleepover

American singer/actress Jennifer Lopez revealed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show recently how she was the one who made the first move on her current partner and former Dominican-American baseball star Alex Rodriguez.
"It's very simple. I was having lunch somewhere and I saw him and he passed by," she told host DeGeneres, according to news.co.au.

"I saw him walk by and afterwards I went outside, but for some reason I felt like tapping him on the shoulder and said, 'Hi, Alex'. And he's like, 'Hi, Jennifer'. And I was like, 'Yeah'. And then that was it," said the 47-year-old singer. Rodriguez seems to have got the hint from Lopez. The 41-year-old player ensured that their brief meeting ended in a dinner date, but not in a sleepover.
"Mama, don't sleep over on the first date. No, no, no," said Lopez.
Though the host tried to delve deep into details of their relationship, Lopez made it clear that she's happy with the way her love life is right now. "You guys don't want to hear about all this! He's a great guy," she added.
