Jaipur: U Mumba overcame some anxious moments to subdue a spirited challenge from Telugu Titans 27-26 in a close match here at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium to maintain their position at the top in the Pro Kabaddi season-2.
Earlier in another keenly fought encounter skipper Rakesh Kumar and Sandeep Narwal combined well to steer Patna Pirates to a thrilling 29-23 over hosts and defending Champions Jaipur Pink Panthers.
In the second match of the day, Mumbai was trailing but came back to win 27-26. It was the brilliance of skipper Anoop Kumar who top scored with 10 points, that helped Mumbai to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
