The Mumbai outfit, who lost to Jaipur Pink Panthers in the final of the first season, have been in dominant form in the league stage, winning 12 of their 14 matches to top the points table. They will also be buoyed by the fact that the semi-finals and final will be played in their home city, where they remained unbeaten in the group stages.

While Mumbai breezed into the play-offs, Patna secured a spot in the semi-finals thanks to a two-point win over Panthers in their last league match of the season. The Pirates will be missing two key raiders in the form of India skipper Rakesh Kumar and Ravi Dalal, who the team claims are injured.

While U Mumba skipper Anup Kumar admitted Patna will miss their key players, he is keen to see his own team succeed. "The Patna team will definitely miss the experience of Rakesh and Ravi tomorrow. It will be a tough game, but we have a good team and we will try our best to win the trophy. I will be very disappointed if we don't go on to clinch the title," Anup said.

However, Patna captain Sandeep Narwal said his team's confidence is sky high after their victory over the Panthers in a do-or-die clash in their last group match. "We were under more pressure in the match against Panthers, which was like a quarter-final. So, there's no pressure on us now," said Narwal. In the other semi-final today, second-placed Telugu Titans will take on Bengaluru Bulls.
