India's Olympic bronze medal-winning shuttler Saina Nehwal was seen enjoying breakfast by the river during a family vacation in Mussoorie recently.

Nehwal, 36, who is also a Commonwealth Games gold medallist and a World Championships silver medallist, Instagrammed a series of pictures to her two million followers, having a bite with members of her family in a river and wrote: "Mountain view breakfast."

Fans were quick to appreciate the scenic location. One online user said: "Mussoorie is the best place ever." Another user said: "Wow, looks like paradise."

Nehwal announced her retirement from professional badminton in January earlier this year.
