"There is a lot more to achieve. In the near future, I hope to attempt more challenges," said Swapnali, who has been winning fans and accolades every time she enters the water.

On October 18, Swapnali, who is a month away from turning 11, became the youngest swimmer to complete the 10km Bermuda Round the Sound Open Swimathon in the Atlantic Ocean and in the process also became the first Indian to win a gold medal in the under-12 category, a feat that has also set her up for a place in the next edition of the Limca Book of Records.

Swapnali was the only swimmer from India chosen by world governing body FINA to participate in the event.

Swapnali then returned to participate in the Maharashtra State Triathlon and Aquathon and earned gold medal in both events in the U-12 category.
