Untitled Indian player SL Narayan (ELO 2396) caused a flutter at the 6th Mumbai Mayor International Chess Tournament on Saturday after he held GM Zubarev Alexander (ELO 2559) of Ukraine for a draw in 66 moves.


Meanwhile, the Indian International Masters, including IM Karthikeyan Murali, and IM Rajesh VAV, suffered losses.u00a0While Murali lost to top seed GM M Mikheil of Georgia (ELO 2435), Rajesh was beaten by GM Petrosian Davit G of Armenia (ELO 2436).

In the Under 2100 category, seven Mumbai players, namely Supriya Joshi, Snehal Bhosale, Chirag Satkar, Tejas Joshi, Shantanu Bhambure and Viraj Tamhankar, along with seven others are leading with four points each after Round Four.
