An unbeaten 130 by Yashasvir Jaiswal helped Tendulkar XI to a 153-run lead against Vengsarkar XI at close of play on Day One of the Varroc Cup U-14 cricket selection tournament at the Oval Maidan yesterday.
Bowling first, Tendulkar XI restricted Vengsarkar XI to 106 and scored freely to end on 259-2. In another match, Shastri XI found themselves 58-runs behind Gavaskar XI.
