Force India drivers Paul Di Resta and Adrian Sutil both sounded upbeat following yesterday's practice for the Korean Grand Prix, with the duo managing a strong haul of laps over the course of the two sessions in what was a productive day for the team.

Sutil and Di Resta ended the day 10th and 11th fastest, respectively, separated by just a thousandth of a second with lap-times that, in the second session, were slightly slower than the lead McLaren of Jenson Button.

"I think it was quite a successful session for us in terms of what we got out of it," Di Resta, who made way for reserve driver James Calado in the first session, said after practice. "Again, I think our one-lap performance needs to be improved for a qualifying result while our race pace on the long runs was very good."

Sutil echoed his teammate's comments even if the German is still working to find the right balance ahead of today's qualifying session. "We worked hard to find the ideal balance and in the morning there was more understeer, while in the afternoon there was more oversteer," Sutil said.

"So there is some work to do but we seem to be in a good position for the weekend."
