We've always been told to never judge a book by its cover, but now, it's become fashionable to do so. From using books as a decor item on your walls to using them as a sling bag, books are the most chic accessory of the year.
Sunvi Aggarwal, (@sunvisideup), a content creator on Instagram, tries out a new fashion hack that she discovered on Instagram. She claims to have never really been a bag person, but this new styling method completely changed things for her. She ties together a bag strap and a ribbon, and places the ribbon right in between the book, making it look like a handbag. This idea is more decorative than functional, but it is genius indeed!
Shivank Goel, (@thezeroquotient), has set up a book wall in his flat. He put 64 books together in a way that it looks like an art installation.
Celebrities have been long accused of hiring "book stylists" to carefully select what reading material they should be seen with, to help their image. Carrying a book immediately makes you think that the holder is a cultured intellectual. Here are some celebrities who have been seen with books in their hands (or in Joseph Quinn's case, his back pocket!)
You can use books with numbers in their titles to create a wall clock. (Example: The Three of Us, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo). PIC/PINTEREST @CKBROCKMAN
