Churchgate station is the second most crowded station in the country, so pausing for a breath is a luxury. Mumbaikars often forget to take a breath and the newly opened Libary Junction, a free public library, is just what you might need. The library is located at the Churchgate end of platform number one and is a collaboration between Western Railway and Larsen & Toubro.
To everyone's fortune, this library is free! You don't need a paid subscription, just a willingness and patience to read. It becomes a sort of add-on to your train ticket - another reason to travel through public transport. You also have a whole two weeks to read that book, and by any chance you don't, you get another one for no additional cost! There's no punishment here for reading slowly or for not having enough time. You just have to keep going and, hopefully, pick up another one!
