Their coffee comes from estates that double up as a 150-acre laboratory for their experiments in cultivation, fermentation, natural flavour infusion, processing and drying. The brand is known for experimenting with cold smoked coffee, lactic acid bacteria fermentation and oka-wood fermentation to milk soothing, beer barrel ageing and honey-sun drying. They grow and roast specially certified organic coffee in the heart of the Kodaikanal Wildlife Sanctuary. And you must know that the coffee is shade-grown under a double canopy of jackfruit, banana, avocado, rosewood and silver oak trees and processed using only harvested rain water. They call themselves an activist company and feel their coffee is radical.
