A dear friend of mine has recently turned hostile towards me and isn't explaining why this change has come about. We have had our usual share of arguments and disagreements over the years, but it has never come to a place where we can't have a conversation. That appears to have changed, and it has now been six months since she returned my calls or tried speaking to me. I am confused and hurt because I have made multiple attempts to reach out and fix this. I have even apologised repeatedly without even knowing what I am sorry about. I don't want to give up on this friendship but don't know what else to do. How do I fix this when I don't know how it broke?
If you can't establish a line of communication, there's little else you can do but wait and hope that your friend changes her mind about this friendship. She may be hurt about something involving you, or something that doesn't concern you at all, but you won't know what the issue is without information. If she hasn't come to terms with what is going on in her life, this may be a matter of patience and time. Send her one last message saying you are willing to wait for her and then hope for the best.
My boyfriend will not commit to marriage despite my asking him about this for two years. I have waited long enough and don't think I can anymore. The problem is I can't see myself being with anyone else because of how much I love him. Should I stay or go?
Being in love isn't enough if it isn't being reciprocated at the same level. This is your life and future on the line, and if your partner isn't willing to commit to what you want, it all boils down to whether you are willing to gamble with this situation changing. If you want to stay, do it with your eyes open, knowing you can get hurt.
