How does a mother deal with the loss of her husband? More than this, how can she accept a forced death, caused by a heart-breaking accident? One Year After is the story of a mother who unwillingly meets the man who killed her husband. In an attempt to express his remorse and deep feelings of guilt, the man tries to talk to the woman whose life he has marked. A movie that takes us into the mind of a mother, exploring her hidden memories and unspoken thoughts.

In the eighteenth year of his reign, Nabuchodonosor king of the Assyrians commanded Holofernes the chief general of his army to avenge the land of Jordan, which he tried to invade once and failed. All of the men in the city trembled with hear of Holofernes’s brutal manner and decided to surrender without a resistance. However Judith refuses their decision. Judith goes to the camp of Assyrian army alone to kill Holofernes.
