A forensic workshop for kids

Here is a chance for the little Sherlock in your home to hone his skills and walk in the footsteps of his idol. A workshop for children between six and eight years will teach them the basics of being a sleuth. The topics covered will include fingerprints, footprints and solving the Who Stole The Cookie Jar case.

To set the young detectives into action, a mock crime scene will be set up, says Joulyn Kenny, a forensic expert and trainer who will be conducting the workshop. Kenny says the heroes of the children coming to the workshops emulate range from DCP Pradyuman of CID to Sherlock and characters from Nancy Drew. “We expect around 20 enthusiastic children in every workshop,” she says.
