Akshay Kumar starts shooting for 'Singh Is Bling'
Akshay Kumar has started shooting for Prabhu Dheva's action-comedy 'Singh Is Bling' in Patiala on Friday. The Khiladi tweeted a picture of him holding the film's clapboard.

Akshay Kumar shared the above image on Twitter and wrote, "In Patiala, started the day with Waheguru's blessings at the Gurudwara and now it's time for day 1 of #SinghIsBliing!"
Coincidentally, the film's shooting kicks off on the same day as director Prabhu Dheva's birthday.

The film also stars 'I' actress Amy Jackson, who is all set to make a comeback in Bollywood after three years. The 23-year-old British model made her Bollywood debut in 2012 film 'Ekk Deewana Tha'.
Apart from Amy Jackson, 'Singh is Bling' will also see Lara Dutta in a new avatar. This film will mark Lara's eighth outing with Akshay after debut film 'Andaaz', followed by 'Aan: Men at Work', 'Insan', 'Dosti: Friends Forever', 'Bhagam Bhag', 'Blue' and 'Housefull'. Lara was last seen in Bejoy Nambiar's action-thriller 'David'.
Besides 'Singh Is Bling', Akshay Kumar has 'Gabbar Is Back', 'Brothers' and 'Airlift' lined up for release.
Co-produced by Akshay Kumar and Ashvini Yardi, under Grazing Goat Pictures, 'Singh Is Bling' is slated to release on October 2, 2015.
