British fighter Ashleigh Grimshaw prevailed over Japanese veteran Mixed Martial Arts fighter Masaya Doi via a knockout (KO) in the Super Fight League's Friday Night fights recently.
In SFL 26/27 at the Filmalaya Studios in Andheri, the international feature bout saw the Japanese begin with some heavy leg kicks even as Ashleigh tried to defend. However, soon the British fighter began to counter-attack and his high kicks turned out to be too hot to handle for Masaya.
Ashleigh then got his punches going too and unleashed a big right hook that dropped Masaya to the floor. The referee stopped the fight and Ashleigh was declared the winner by KO in the very first round.u00a0
