Balotelli to miss England friendly
Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli has withdrawn from the Italy squad for Wednesday’s friendly against England in the Swiss capital Bern, the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) announced on yesterday.
Balotelli, who starred in Italy’s run to the final of Euro 2012, is suffering from conjunctivitis and has been replaced in the squad by young Udinese attacker Diego Fabbrini.
