Be an archivist of your own frames
Ever wondered why old photos are so brittle or turn yellow despite being kept safely inside an album?
Do you want to revive some old photographs and give them a completely new look and feel?
Walk in to Anemos this Saturday and let well-known photographer Aditya Arya take you through the art of archiving photographs. Arya, who is also a collector and trustee of the India Photo Archive Foundation, will tell you everything about photo-acrhiving — from the needs to various methods involved in photo archiving.
The one-day workshop will also talk about different mediums of photographs and digitising old photographs, concluding with a visit to the Reproscan’s printing and scanning facility. So, dig up your old photographs and bring them to the workshop. Arya will tell you how to preserve them forever.
